History About the Breed

The Great Pyrenees dog, is a very old breed, used by sheep herders back in the middle ages. They originate from France and Spain. These dogs are now known to be used as rescue dogs, livestock guardians, and of course family dogs, because they are wonderful pets , and are great with children.
